    can you tell me what kind of plaster was used here. Also what technique was used for the border?

    This is Vella Plaster, as is detailed out in the full post http://designamour.com/2010/07/08/master-of-plaster/
    The border is done with a contrasting color of plaster troweled through the stencil for a raised effect.
