Hi Melanie,

so appreciate all the great comments especially coming from such a talented group of our peers; we all understand and can appreciate the crazy work we all do! I always like to say that if the compliments could pay the bills I would take that any day!

Wow! What an amazing application of mosaic - it never ceases to amaze me what a versatile medium it is.

You have done an astounding job!! I can only imagine that it looks even better in person!

This is fabulous! I want to create something like this. The whole room is stunning. Love the blue walls and the bent wood sink stand is incredible. How lucky to have incredible clients who were so open-minded. Bravo to you in suggesting and accomplishing such a creative installation!

Jan,

it is probably the most intricate modello we have ever done and will ever do again. After the first leaf I knew we were in trouble :-)
after spending hours and hours looking over real mosaic tile patterns, we tried to replicate the reflective qualities and colors used in real mosaic and render the flowers as realistic and dimensional as possible. We were cooped up in that bathroom with respitory masks {finally got smart in my old age!} not to inhale those mica powders} We are definetely pleased with our creation and I guess its a little like childbirth, you forget the pain :-)
