Well, your work is gorgeous Carol! New, inspiring books on decorative painting and finishing are definitely in sad, short supply these days, aren't they!

Thank you so much Melanie! It was an honor and a pleasure to meet you at MOTM. I was overwhelmed with joy to give a bit of inspiration back to one who has always given immeasurable inspiration! I always look forward to seeing everything you do, new books especially welcomed :D

Blurb! Thank you for keeping it in your head --because I just read about these on fauxforum.com and when I went to the website it was still under construction or something... Anyway, I want to while away some time checking out their website and now I can. Yay! ~Julie

Hi there! I meant to say hi the other day when I found you via Maryam -- I guess I was too overwhelmed. Your work is GORGEOUS -- how do you DO it??? I can't wait to see the Peacock Pavilions project unfold! As for Blurb, it's funny, I just heard about it for the first time last week -- another awesome blogger (rosylittlethings.typepad.com) is cooking up a project she is going to print by Blurb. I found myself wondering. . . what sort of book can I make? Too much fun! My sister made a wedding album last year on another site, Shutterfly, and it came out great. Looks like Blurb is a little fancier, though. Nice to meet you, Melanie!
